The Climate Project™ (“TCP”), a non-profit organization based in Nashville, TN, began in June 2006 with the mission of increasing public awareness of the climate crisis at a grassroots level in the United States and abroad.

Within its first year, a diverse cross-section of over 1,200 presenters in the United States had been personally trained by Al Gore to present the slideshow featured in the Academy Award-winning film, An Inconvenient Truth. This number increased to 2500 by October 2008, as TCP spanned the globe with TCP organizations in Australia, Canada, India, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States and TCP presenters in over 25 countries.

As of October 2008, Al Gore’s climate change speakers had delivered tens of thousands of presentations to varied audiences around the world in a highly effective peer-to-peer approach. Already, more than 4 million people have seen these presentations. TCP has plans to dramatically increase its international outreach and impact in 2009 leading up to the Copenhagen Treaty in December, 2009.

To further develop and support education efforts, The Climate Project™ seeks partnerships with companies and organizations that are making a significant effort to reduce the threat of global warming and are working towards conducting their business activities in a responsible and sustainable manner.

Sponsorship of TCP helps demonstrate to the public at large that you are committed to making a difference in helping to solve the climate crisis. We hope that after learning about the impact TCP has already had on the world, you will consider supporting TCP in its education, awareness and global outreach programs.
